TX Standard Rules
1. Respect for your fellow posters is mandatory.
--There will be no name calling, derogatory put downs, snide comments, or flaming sarcasm towards another poster or posters, or baiting on the open boards.
2. Trolling will not be tolerated. Any post that is trollish will be deleted, and the poster will be given a warning. It is also possible for a troll to be immediately banned without any warnings, depending on the severity of the offense.
--Trolling consists of purposefully posting a thread with the intent to cause trouble on the board.
3. While it is okay to criticize their work, no personal bashing of the actors, actresses or the powers that be is allowed. Malicious gossip and rumors are discouraged.
4. No personal bashing of any poster on this board, warranted or not.
5. You are free to say what you want about the characters. However, if you are in a theme forum, you must respect those forums pairings/characters.
6. No complaints, fights or grievances from or about outside boards are allowed.
--If you have an issue with the way another board is run or issues with posters from other boards, keep it in those boards
7. No spamming the board. Spamming is repeatedly posting the same topic over and over.
8. No stalking like behavior towards the stars, the powers that be, or fellow TX members will be tolerated. Stalking includes seeking out the person's personal address, phone number, work place, or attempting to track the individual down in person.
9. No bigoted or prejudiced comments of any kind. Including, but not limited to, those regarding gender, race, sexual orientation, and religion. Bigotry of any kind is not tolerated on the Talking Xena board.
10. If you want to speak on a ruling or action taken by the TX staff, or an action by a TX member, please post it in the Complaint Forum. Do not post it on the thread where it happened in order to avoid further disruption of the original thread discussion.
11. When the Talking Xena moderators or administrators are speaking officially on the board, or being addressed officially by the members, no snide, snarky or rude comments toward, or bashing of the TX Staff, the board or the decisions of the TX Staff, will be tolerated in any forum.
12. Do not advertise sites with stolen images. This will not be tolerated on TX.
--Do not attempt to argue your point or call a poster out if you feel they are breaking a rule. If you feel you must speak on an issue such as this with the poster, post it in the Fight Club. Other wise, post your issue in the Complaint forum for the mods/admins to settle.
-- if you feel a person is deliberately going out of their way to bait you, post about it in the complaint forum and wait for a mod or admin to see it.
Theme Forum Rules
1. Respect for the views on the pairing and characters of the forum you are posting in is mandatory.
2. Respect for individual posters of the forum you are posting in is mandatory.
3. The theme forums are for the fans of the pairings stated on the individual forums only. If you do not like the view thats in a certain themed forum, please stay out of that forum. There are no reminders for a first offense if you post an opposing view there, you will get a warning.
4. When the Talking Xena moderators or administrators are speaking officially on the board, or being addressed officially by the members, no snide, snarky or rude comments toward, or bashing of the TX Staff, the board or the decisions of the TX Staff, will be tolerated in any forum.
Complaint Forum Rules
The intent of the complaint forum is for a poster to be able to post a complaint. It is not for ideas. It is not for debate. Complaints only. If a person does not post their complaint in this forum, they will not be acknowledged.
1. Post your complaint in a respectful manner.
--If your post is about a specific post, copy the post, with the authors name, into your complaint and provide a link to the entire thread.
2. You are allowed 1 response after an admin or moderator responds.
3. If your complaint is about another poster, that poster is allowed 1 response.
--We realize that not all complaints can be handled with only one response. It is up to the admin or mod who responds to decide if more discussion is needed and you will be informed that you may continue the discussion.
4. Other than administrators and moderators, no one is allowed to post on the complaint threads except for the person posting the complaint, and the person the complaint is about.
5. If a complaint is emailed to a moderator or an admin the email will be posted in the complaint forum with a response.
6. There are no informal complaints. All complaints will be posted that are sent through email or ezmail.
7. The Complaint forum is for serious complaints about the board only. If you don't have a valid complaint, don't post there.
8. Threads in the complaint forum will be moved to storage after six months.
9. When the Talking Xena moderators or administrators are speaking officially on the board, or being addressed officially by the members, no snide, snarky or rude comments toward, or bashing of the TX Staff, the board or the decisions of the TX Staff, will be tolerated.
Fight Club Rules
1. Anything said in Fight Club cannot be brought outside of FC unless it is a formal complaint placed in the complaint forum.
--This also means other boards outside of TX. If it is found someone is discussing topics that start specifically in the TX Fight Club you will be asked to stop as you do not have permission from this board to do so.
--If someone is found reposting threads, posts or partial posts that is in the TX Fight Club a you will be asked to stop.
--If people ignore or completely disregard these requests to stop speaking of information found at the TX Fight Club, we will issue a formal complaint to EZboards.
2. No graphic pornography
3. No threats against members of the board
4. No bigotry
5. No fights, complaints, or beefs from or about another board.
6. Anything and everything else goes here. This forum isn't for everybody, so for those who don't care for the more 'forward' style threads that are in the FC , it would be best to stay out of there and enjoy the many 'ruled' forums we have here at the TX instead. Since it is a password protected forum, it is your choice to be in there or not, not ours.

Moderator and Admin Rules
Moderators and Admins are the "enforcers" of Talking Xena. They are the ones who will make decisions regarding the rules of the board. If you have an issue with a moderator or admin, post your complaint in the complaint forum or the issue will not be acknowledged.
1. Mods and admins will enforce the above rules regardless of personal feelings.
2. No thread will be locked based on an email or personal feelings. They will only be locked based on the breaking of the rules, or if the threads only purpose is to cause trouble and discontent.
3. No thread will be moved based on email or personal feelings.
4. If a thread is moved, or edited based on the above rules, an explanation must be included by the moderator or administrator who did it.
5. If a thread breaks out into a fight, it will be moved to FC immediately. If warnings are warranted, they will be given out.
6. Mods/Admins will not respond to any complaints unless they are posted in the complaint forum.
7. If Mods/Admins see a complaint on a thread outside of the complaint forum, instruct the poster that the complaint must be moved to the complaint forum in order for an action to be taken. The poster will be told only once. If the poster chooses not to comply, the complaint will not be addressed.
8. If a Mod or Admin becomes confused on any issue, and feels they are unable to make an unbiased decision regarding a thread or post, or simply have a question regarding the policy of enforcing the rules, they will place a post in the administrative forum addressing your concerns and await a reply.
These rules are final and aren't to be debated. If the rules are not followed, the consequences are as follows:
1. For every rule a poster breaks for the first time, a reminder will be given.
2. If this same poster breaks any rule for which they have already received a reminder, they will be given a warning.
3. If they break any rule for which they have already received a warning, another warning will be given.
4. If they accumulate a total of 3 warnings from any combination of 2 and 3 above, they will be banned from TX permanently.
5. If a member has one warning but does not receive a second warning within one year, their one warning will be erased. If the member does receive a second warning within one year of receiving the first one, both warnings will be permanent.
Exceptions:
1. There are no reminders for a first offense in a themed forum: if you post an opposing view there, you will get a warning.
2. In the most extreme cases, administration may decide to ban someone more quickly.
TX reserves the right to change these rules as needed for the good of the board.
