I haven't watched the eps in a long
time, but here goes.
The Deliverer....Dahak was a demonic
Zoroastrianism god. His aim was to destroy the Greek gods and then
all the other gods and take over the world. He needed the sacrifice
of Gabrielle's blood innocence in order to enter the world. He then
impregnated her so that his spawn could give birth to six Destroyers
to help in his conquest of the world.
Gabrielle's Hope.....Gabrielle gives
birth to Hope and sends her down river where she winds up with the
centaurs in Greece. Hope releases Callisto from the lava pit. Hope
kills Solon, Gabrielle poisons Hope and they burn the bodies on the
funeral pyre. You have to watch at the end, the ashes of Hope drift
away from the pyre. Xena left Callisto in the collapsed cave.
Hercules, Armageddon Now I....The ashes
show up in a town, they form into a figure who kills a man and Hope
takes his cloak to hide her burned body. Hope releases Callisto from
Hercules, Armageddon Now II...Callisto
gets thrown in a vortex while Hope watches. Hercules embeds the hind's
blood dagger in a stone.
Sacrifice I....Callisto frees herself
from the vortex and joins up with Hope. Hope is now in a cocoon,
apparently reforming. Seraphin rubs blood on the cocoon allowing Hope
Sacrifice II...The cult gathers people
for blood sacrifices to Dahak. Ares goes to the temple and joins up
with Dahak. He impregnates Hope with the first of the six anticipated
Destroyers. Ares demands repayment from Gabrielle for taking her to
Chin by declaring if Xena kills Hope, Xena will die. Gabrielle won't
allow it, so she dives in the pit with Hope. Joxer got the hind's
blood dagger for Xena. She uses it to kill Callisto. Xena slams the
cover over Dahak's altar and he is gone again.
Family Affair...Xena and Joxer go to
find Gabrielle. The Destroyer is rampaging over the countryside. He stabs Hope with his claw and she
dies. Xena kills the Destroyer.
Hercules, Darkness Rising...Gilgamesh
killed Iolaus in S5, ep 1. Dahak takes over Iolaus' body. He kills
the Druids. Hercules goes to Sumeria. He goes to Iolaus's tomb and
finds out Dahak took over his body and has fled to Greece. He
Hercules, Let There Be Light...Dahak is
in Greece. The Greek gods have fled. Hercules can't kill Dahak
because it will damn the soul of Iolaus for eternity. A stone of
light can contain him temporarily. All he can do to save him is an
Hercules, Redemption...Hercules uses
the stone to capture Dahak. He tries exorcism, but Dahak kills the
guy trying to perform it. Dahak orders his priests to kill Ares so he
can use his strength to escape Herc. Herc gets inside Dahak and he
and Iolaus together throw him over a cliff and into a pit of fire.
Goodbye Dahak. Ares gets his strength back and disappears.
Good lord, why did I do this! I feel like I am now possessed by Dahak.

"Immaculate conception" means the child is conceived without the stain of original sin on its soul. Roman Catholic doctrine holds that all humans-except Mary, mother of Jesus, and of course Christ himself, are born with original sin. (This has been defined as the tendency to commit sin, or, as someone said, the inborne instinct to act like a **@%%%$ when the occasion arises).
I don't know the term for divine conception-without sexual intercourse.
You will note that Greco-Roman mythology had sexual intercourse as the usual means of conception, even among the gods. Hera's production of Hephaestus was a distinct exception.
I don't know about Zoroatrian mythology.

Neither was a virgin by the time of pregnancy. Gabrielle had been married to Perdicas.
