Thank you for posting the pictures.
How old was she back then?
Nine out of ten voices in my head tell me that
I'm not crazy. The other one is singing the melody of Tetris...

Well, she turned 24 in February 1995, but I don't know exactly when the movie was filmed.
This was the second of the Rockford Files reunion movies, and according to the IMDb, the release date in the US was May 1995. I guess that means they made it late 1994/early 1995. Michael

I just watched to movie after capping it...Renee was very "Gabrielle" in it...James Garner didn't have many lines when she was on with
him...talking with her hands, the gestures, kind of like on Xena....nobody stood a chance of getting a word in when Gabs went on on tear....the first of her
earlymovies with a big part for her...and Pwaise Hestia !!!...she didn't die or dissappear....just some of my musings...

The scene where Laura Sue is sitting on the bed (with a teddybear?), and Jim Rockford is standing in the doorway is fantastic, IMO.
... And I still think it's incredible how much this movie was a premonition of ROC's further career - even down to having one of her projects boycotted by a religious group. (XWP's The Way, only four years later) Michael |
