She hung up on me the first time after I first advised putting the Lasagna in the oven ("You've got to be kidding I'm on a raid!"), because in the morning she's "raiding" in the game and doesn't want phone calls (because she could "die"). But I called right back and delivered the news. She said, "Good.' and hung up again. Also what did you think of the ending of part 2, corny or not corny? I loved "go get 'um tiger!" and doubt it could escape the corny-tag. Lost Mariner Posts: 1094 (08/10/09 04:32 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I enjoyed Spiderman1 and 2,they were good.No,I didn't think part 2 ending was corny,it was ok.Part 3 felt out of sorts to me,adding 4 villians was messy,it would have been better if they focused on Venom.The reason I thought part 3 was corny,is that I was looking foward to see Peter turn evil.Instead they made him look like some emo kid.....and the worst part was the 20 minutes worth of weird dancing he did, strutting down the street like Saturday Night Fever. Did you like Spiderman 3 ?

What I liked best about it was that my fear that Mary Jane would be turned against him didn't happen to the extent I feared. I dreaded that while it might be all fixed up by the end I would still feel her character had been trashed like what imo happened to Catherine Zeta-Jones character in 2005's Zorro 2, The Legend of Zorro. I have since forgiven writers Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman for whatever part they played in that (imo) travesty on her character as they have subsequently redeemed themselves with very good works imo. But at the time I was still shocked by it and dreaded a repeat of whatever "writers device" that was being visited on Mary Jane/Kirsten Dunst. Different writer(s) but I guess having been through X:WP's Season 3 character-deconstruction I could see that "writers device" coming in Spider-Man 3 a mile away or so it seemed. So while it did sort of happen it was done in such a way that didn't bother me at all and I really liked that. I did think that the little goo monster from outer space was a bit too corny for my taste, now that "corny" has been mentioned and I think back on it. However I did enjoy certain aspects of its drug-like effect on the characters and how that played out. I'd say that it was probably better to have it as an admittedly corny inky goo monster which could be seen rather than say as a less corny unseen demonic-like force. I thoroughly enjoyed Sandman's character and how that all played out. While I would have preferred to watch it again before answering, and regret I don't have the time just now, from my recollection of it I'd say that yes I did like Spider-Man 3. Lost Mariner Posts: 1095 (08/13/09 07:19 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Hmm,I've never seen the Zorro movies,so I wouldn't know how they changed Catherine's character....but I'm guessing they really messed up her character,since I heard part 2 didn't do so well. I'm a big fan of the classic Zorro Disney produced back in the 1950's.So that version of Zorro will always be the true one for me.Anyway...I actually kinda liked the way Mary Jane was written part 2 and 3,I liked the fact she wasen't such a good girl anymore.Yeah the goo monster was corny, I didn't like it,but some people enjoyed it.Sandman was interesting to see and I did like how he was the one who murdered Peter's uncle,that made sense,it worked well into the storyline.So you did like part 3? I won't say it was terrible, but it just wasen't my cup of tea.Get this though....I did not like Pirates of the Caribbean 3, I actually thought it was more boring than Spiderman 3.
