Opening night will be at the Pacific Design Center, 8687 Melrose Ave., in West Hollywood. Renee O'Connor's Words Unspoken will open the festival. The evening starts with a red carpet and reception at 6:00pm and ends with an after-party at The Abbey. Tickets for WHIFF are $10 each and $7 for West Hollywood residents. Students and seniors are $5. A four-day festival pass is $125 and VIP passes are available for $150 each. The Opening Night extravaganza is $30, with a $5 discount for seniors. That means all other entries will be measured against this outstanding production that will set a new standard for dramatic quality. This reporter expects to see Ms O'Connor back at 8:00 PM Saturday for the Awards Ceremony where she will be the recipient of several awards. It has been rumored that at the 10:00 PM wrap party the entire cast will drink champagne from her slippers. Louella H3, Considering it's only July 22nd and the festival hasn't begun yet, are you sure you didn't mean you're Jean Dixon, not Louella Parsons? On Renee's homepage it's announced that all events will be taking place at The Roosevelt Hotel, not the Pacific Design Center. Also on her homepage she's announced another event at the end of the month where 'Words Unspoken' will be screened and she will be participating on a Q&A panel.
