I even quite like the end, it pretty much was another risk (the blatant Japanese cinema references are still too blatant for me though, its not homage with the sheer volume) in a TV that didnt lay down and die like many others (Buffy for one) and kept going in a market place where it just wasnt wanted due to its syndicated nature. I'm not saying S6 was perfect, but with a 70% success rate of good eps I am surprised how good it was.
Also I see that the original production team has given up making one as Universal want to wait and start with a new cast, this doesnt surprise me. With the success of old TV shows at the moment they can either give Mr Tapert (who really did chase this, which surprised me) $30 million now for something niche or wait five more years and recast with a much bigger budget and new back room staff ocne the show has been away so long no one would really notice.
Anyway, this is my way of saying hello again, until I wander off and find something shiney.
