Just curious if anyone else has a problem with Renee's official site. When I clicked her site, I got a Sara Palin video instead of Renee's regular homepage.

Hope her site hasn't been hacked.

Hmm, when you look up this domain name it's kind of confusing because it still shows Renee's main page picture but the Website Title has been changed to H264 | FLV | YouTube Video Player. It's possible someone did hijack it.

It hasn't been corrected yet. She probably already knows about it but just in case I just sent an email to the addresses I have for her with a cc to Sharon.

I wonder if it's the same joker who messed up AUSXIP recently.

How dare someone hijack our ROC's homepage. Grrrr.

Folks,

The site has been hacked. Whatever you do, DO NOT download the flv player or the play the video - it could be a trojan lurking in the actual player (and you are asked to go to a different site to download the flv player) so you will download it onto your machine, use the player spread the trojan.

Renee has been alerted and hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Thanks, Mary. I didn't stay on the video page long enough to even read what it was about. I hit BACK as soon as I saw I was being redirected.

Anger is a polite word for how I feel toward those who would hack ROC's site.

People who do this sort of thing really p!ss me off!!

What do they stand to gain from it? A few laughs? I hope the notion of Karma is true and what goes around, comes around. Bunch of losers.

If there is something in this life that you want to do, grab hold of the reins and take yourself for a ride, because if you don't you may miss out on some of the best experiences life has to offer!

Thanks for the heads-up. Just talked with Renee and she's working on having it fixed. She said if it had lead to an Obama video she might have left it up, but as it leads to a Palin one, she's going to have it removed

Well shucks . . . somehow I missed all of the excitement. When I log onto her official site (and I check it almost every day) I still get her "Official Site". If someone did hack in with a Sarah Palin connection, maybe it was Collen O'Brien trying to stir up some poop and save his job.

Well, I'm getting her actual homepage now, so it appears they may have the problem corrected. At least it's cool to see that Renee has a sense of humor at her site being hacked.
