I loved how she put him in his place about looking forward to seeing the same Xena fans rather then it being all about the Xena gang she worked with. Great to see her, always is.

Gladiator Posts: 254 (08/30/08 04:12 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	L I actually thought the interviewer had done their research but was letting Renee talk rather than dominating the interview (the interviewer knew, for example, that Renee had her own Charity where she was helping people with their medical bills how many people outside us rabid fans know that?) Renee looked amazing, as ever and it's always wonderful to hear how much she enjoys interacting with fans!!

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the interview, mainly because Renee just ran with things, but the guy was not a good interviewer... But it was Renee, so I shouldn't complain too much .

I liked what she said about connecting with the fans, and that there's more to it than just remembering her character from a television show. The connection between her and her fans is well beyond that now, and you can tell...you can feel it. Yup, she definitely met plenty of new Toronto Xena fans too, and some other familiar faces, so her curiousity about that has been satisfied. I think Renee' is a suffisticated young lady who is way beyond her years and can do anything she sets her mind to .Too bad someone like her was nominated for VP or something. Any way I hope she can help people and kids affected by domestic violence. I am a survivor of domestic abuse for twenty years of my life but through help I am a productive member of society. Remember, this was a fan convention. Fans of many different types of genre entertainment. This was probably a fan, without much experience doing interviews. That site isn't fair to dialup users who are willing to wait for a video to load in order to watch it. I waited hours for that archived FILMNUT interview to load so I could watch Renée. It was great to hear her talk about her personal film and to hear her talk about the fans and the sparkle in her eye when she does. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside! If there is something in this life that you want to do, grab hold of the reins and take yourself for a ride, because if you don't you may miss out on some of the best experiences life has to offer!
