The Lovely Bones is a much anticipated adaption of the book written by Alice Sebold. However it looks as though Ryan Gosling will not be playiing her father as reported in the article. Mark Wahlberg has replaced him as the father and even though apparently Ryan gained 20 pounds and grew a beard for the role I have a difficult time seeing him as the father of a 14 year old. The movie is quite interesting as it is about a young girl brutally murdered who watches the affects of her murder from Heaven. In the book heaven is different for everyone and inspired Mary Chapin Carpenter to write a song called 'My Heaven'. Good luck to the lovely young Rose as this is a huge break for her! It's a bizarre movie, but Rose McIver does an awesome job playing Lindsey Salmon. You'd never know she was 23 years old in real life (at least at first)...they made her look 12 and did a great job of it! Our little Daphne has definitely grown up! If there is something in this life that you want to do, grab hold of the reins and take yourself for a ride, because if you don't you may miss out on some of the best experiences life has to offer!
