Threads in any language and on any subject (including Xena) would be allowed (as long as they followed TX's other rules). So the question is, would this be something you would like? Let us know how you feel and make any comments or other suggestions. Tobias

This isn't my only concern. I think this is already an International forum as I have met so many people from different countries. Xena brings us together and together we are stronger. I understand that if there is a large group from one country who mostly speak the language other than English having their own thread to talk about the show with realitive ease. However, now that games are popping up in the games forum in foriegn languages, it's like saying, "ha, we don't want to play with you!" I would hate to see this create a division among so many wonderful people from so many wonderful countries and yet I understand not wanting to exclude anyone. I have personally attempted to start new topics so that people can introduce themselves, tell us about their wonderful hometowns and countries and bring people together. Every two years the world gets together for the summer and winter olympics under a banner of peace to bring nations together and to learn about each other. This forum has been doing the same for about eight years now. I'd hate to see that change. In fact, I'd rather see the chat room used for that. With all of the different timezones it would be perfect to have meetings in there and talk to each other in your own languages at times convenient for your country. I didnt opened that 2 topic for myself but i did for my other turks who cant speak well. You keep opening topics. there 8 turkish members here and how many of them can reply those??? none except me do you see my point??? If they were able to speak English, then that would be fine but they dont. and at this point how can we change this situation? they cant just speak english enough at the moment. we are still trying to play english ones but we want to keep our turkish ones too. We have Turkish threads in General Xena Chat and Lucy Chat but I still try to reply others. But others cant and if they do, they need me to translate in turkish. and i cant do that all time FOREVER LUCY LAWLESS!!!

Okay, first thing to address is the moderating concerns of the new forum. We have had different language threads here for loooooong time with no problems what so ever. I really dont foresee any coming, but just know that the rules here will be applied there too. If it becomes a bad scene for some reason we will handle it, no worries. It will be run like the rest of TX. Im very sorry, but I have to disagree with the chat room idea. While I think its great if people want to use the chatroom and I would really like to get it going, the chat room defeats the purpose of what we are trying to do. Give the international Xenites a forum of their own where English doesnt rule. Their own home, per say. It wont take away from the rest of the board at all. Ive seen these on other boards and they seem to work well. If anything it should make it better for the foriegn language speaking fans as they will know have their own 'home', and will keep the english speaking forums basically english so there are no more frustrations when english speaking people cant follow foreign threads. Sounds win/win to me. Else, would you please ask the Turkish fans what they think of this idea? Id like to hear their thoughts. Im guessing they havent responded because this is in English. I tried to explain but you seem you dont read my post. there is nothing I can do or you can do. THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH Sometimes they are trying to write something in english but you dont understand them well. I have to look every thread they post and make them clear. They keep asking me to translate your sentence. They are trying but they cant be successful all time. We are the most online group/people in this forum. If moderater or other members think we need to stop posting I will let them know. If you think we need to leave this place, i will let turkish members know that too. Second, I don't think Tai, HB or Candideyes were really attacking you but just expressing their opinions and trying to help. Whether we make a new Internation Forum or leave it the way it is you are all still more than welcome here whether you speak English or not. Now I have another question, is there another language that a lot of our Turkish members speak, like French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.? There's a couple of translation programs I could put on the board but unfortunately they don't include Turkish. Tobias

The only language they can speak is Turkish. bdb and loctoceanmidnight can speak english quite well. ares, kaderxena,chakram and asabi cant speak english. and kainatperisi is somewhere in the middle.
