Thursday Travel. Ack What can I say I missed my car sooo bad taking the coach then 2 tube trains was a little bit hellish, especially when on the coach I had to move seats after some guy sat by me to ask very smut type questions that I won't go into, never the less it gave me a conversation opener when I met the girls later. Ahh the girls, its always great being around other people who love Xena as much as I do now throw in the love of alcohol, dancing and having a good time I'm in heaven. I'd already met Inkyblue who is the most adorable little fire cracker I have ever come across such a kind, funny, sweet girl and lugging a huge pink suitcase around on the underground ( Oh I forgot to say on the coach down I spotted this Bentley with blacked out windows and XENIE as a licence plate I totally convinced myself it was Lucy!!

Day 1 of the convention hung over meet up time.

Another tube ride to the Hilton wasn't too bad we walked in and spotted smutterly and Jackie with a group of xenites YAY, Steve Sears was mingling with his girlfriend Amanda who is lovely just taking photo's and chatting to the fans he is so cool and approachable never turning down a fans request for a photo op or answering any questions we may have had. He will be putting all his pictures and reports on his website you should check it out for the group photos. Ok the meet up was huge we had a lot of TXers and XoCers it was great all of us finally meeting and hugging the atmosphere was electric! Everyone was buzzing laughing just generally having a blast. I tended to just jump on as many people as possible I won't mention names since so many were present and I don't want to leave any out but I love you all! Poor ladyk walked in right in the middle so we promptly jumped and harassed LOL

Steve wanted a huge group picture and came up with the idea of everyone giving their cameras to Amanda who would take a picture with each one so off we all go to pose twenty plus photos on different cameras later we were done, even that though was so much fun everyone making jokes and having a giggle.

Ok then to register our room still wasn't ready so we had to register separately I think maybe four hours later our little group had got all our credentials the line was bloody enormous and moved slow! Mainly since out of the four guys giving stuff out two of them kinda did sod all but try and sell us stuff so that held up the line a lot! I met a wonderful Xenite called Karen who isn't on any boards (yet) evil laugh! she was from Birmingham we adopted her into our group and I was eyeballing a girl who I suspected to be Pandora poor thing she must have though FREAK later when I pointed and said Pandora? She said yes!! We hugged and the day after spent some time having a chat in the lobby.

How bad am I?? I can't remember the order of the events so bare with me. I'm pretty sure it was Adrienne first she is a cutie mainly she took questions. We heard a charming story about filming emotional scenes with Lucy they were both having to cry, in the back ground one of the rugs that had been unrolled for the scene contained a bunch of dead mice neither of them could get any tears going and the scene took forever add a small fire from a candle it was nearly impossible. We heard about her new project Reflections doing well at the film festivals around the states. Hopefully we'll get it over here but noting is sure it sounds a really good movie. The plot is Adrienne's character can see the past sometimes future events that have burned themselves into the surface of mirrors its always the worst event so this lady has to deal with seeing that stuff making her survival a struggle.

She also talked about her Livia Costume at first she hated it before she saw the finished project she had no idea how to portray this tuff woman in a cheer leading skirt LOL that Got a chuckle and applause, the first costume was all separate pieces making fight scenes hard when pieces fell off randomly later wardrobe sewed it all onto a leather garment to stop that happening, then of course something else went wrong with her pants since they were made out of inflexible material. She spoke of her fondness of the wardrobe girl for saving her modesty, right in the middle of a fight scene her pants split so she just sat in the sand and wouldn't move the director was all 'carry on come, on lets go' Adrienne just kept repeating 'I need to see wardrobe' the girl shuffled her into one on the huts on scene and sewed her pants up and never told anyone in fact no one knew until then what really happened, The next day her pants had been made into a flexible material LOL, That was a fun story. Later with the autographs she personalised every one I managed to ramble about her being ace and having a cute dog THE SHAME, I swear con haze is impossible she was really sweet about it all and is a very, warm, kind lady. Oh I forgot juicy gossip, apparently Eve was meant to be in the last episode but since they had so much story to jam in it got axed sob!!

The Cabaret ,

Holy crap!! Brittney Powell I love you!!!! She changed her routine from what was planned and put on a Belly dancing show !!! It was awesome the whole room got very hot all of a sudden it was incredible. Now if that wasn't fun enough she asked for volunteers to dance with her I had just had a huge meal to make up for not eating anything in 48 hours otherwise DAYUM I'd have been up there in a heart beat. I have photo's to be added later, -happy dance-

Steve sang for us and the Creation guy Adam organised a sing along to Queen, the problem was they didn't have the music so he had to hum it that was so funny!! The climax was Adrienne with her beautiful voice one that sticks out is Its all so quiet (Sssh Sssh) she made it so much fun!!

After this we had a welcome party which let me tell you wasn't all that great from Creations end no music, the drinks were really expensive. The only thing that made it fun was our little family soo lets see who did we have…. We had me and the roomies GWAC, Lsavad, Inky Blue, Roxonxena, smutterly, the two Sara's (Adorable girls I love you mwah) Ana, Karen, ladykate ], Pandora .. Oh man my memory is rubbish More were there so sorry if I missed you out. Inky was terrified to speak to Adrienne so I dragged her over and told her Adrienne stood and chatted for ages it was great!

After we had some giggles drank our free drink we made a move upstairs looking for a party, somehow we lingered on the stairs and I adopted the hi I'm Twinkletoes Hug me before you can pass approach I must have hugged like 20 xenites LOL I feel bad since we were SOO rowdy most Xenites liked it I felt the Love

We partied in the bar until 2 am corxy was with us we had a laugh bumped into Brittney where in my alcohol influenced state decided to say Hi……. Oh no I couldn't leave it there I had to explain how if I hadn't eaten such a huge meal Id have danced with all the time demonstrated a little dance…. THE SHAME Arrrggghhh. The good part was she really didn't seem to mind and just kind of humoured me Brittney you ROCK!!

Ok so that was Part one of my convention report more soon including my photo op riot with Brittney and her breasts all her doing I may add she is so much fun!!
