Elara: Do you have Netflix? I just checked my queue and The Ark of Truth is shipping today for me and should be here tomorrow! If you don't have Netflix, let me know and I can send you the friend link that will give you a month for like $5.00. I personally love my Netflix.

Elara there is a place for me to sign up friends for a free trial but they ask for an email address to send you the information. If you're interested, send me an email address to my Yuku address. Otherwise check out the site yourself. They have different plans and I believe that the free trial is 2-4 weeks. You sign up for a flat fee for I think between 15 and 20 dollars a month. Depending on the cost you get 1,2 or 3 movies at a time. They send them to you in the mail and when you are done, you send them back and they send you three more. If you forget to send one back for a month then you just send it back whenever. You won't get another movie til you do but no late fees and you only have to go to your postal box. They have been excellent in their delivery time which for me has been 2-3 days turnaround and if the movie doesn't work or if it gets lost in the mail, they have been really good. As far as the trial goes, you give them a credit or debit card number etc and if after the free trial is up, you don't like it, just notify them on the website and cancel. I originally joined when they first started and promptly quit because I didn't like the service. After a few months and trying Blockbuster, I rejoined and since then, they seem to have the bugs out. It's month to month. You can quit anytime. It's just up to you to send the request to them to cancel membership. So if you want to try it for a few weeks and see the stargate movie for free, you can do that. Oh and they are fantastic when it comes to televsion shows and hard to find DVD's.
As far as the movie Ark of Truth, I recommend you rent it. I personally was very disappointed with it. It does tie up the loose ends of the series and the acting is excellent and there are a few good scenes but overall I did not like it. I really hope that the second movie is better because this did not feel like a movie and frankly, I can think of probably 100 episodes from the show that looked just as good with better plotlines and were more exciting than this movie that they spent 7 million on. I just hope the actors got some of that extra budget. The acting as always was outstanding. When you do see the movie I'd love to hear your views. I went onto the Sci fi board and everyone was raving about it. That kind of shocked me.
