Hi mods! I have a suggestion concerning the next (video) contest/competition. First I have to say that this was totally fun and I enjoyed participating in it
as much as watching all those great videos! Thank you so much for making this board so much fun!
The reason I'm posting here is an embarrassing situation that I had yesterday regarding the video contest. It was Saturday morning here in Europe and I was together with some friends because we wanted to go to an event together. Before we went I turned on my computer to check on the video contest, and saw that "Breath me" got 17 votes, and "If you love I'll love" got and "Every minute of every day" both got 10 votes. Since it was after 9 AM here (after Midnight Pacific Standartd Time) we considered the contest to be over and that I was sharing the 3rd place with the other video. My friends were happy for me and we had a little celebration before we left town. When I came back home Saturday night I noticed that Gabsfan had locked the thread but before that another member had posted and voted for "If you love I'll love" so that now my video was on the 4th place. Please don't get me wrong, I am totally fine with the situation, I'm happy for the winners and think all three totally deserved it! I myself like the "bronze video" better than my own, actually. However, it was a little bit confusing to explain to my friends that I wasn't among the winners anymore. Well, it's okay, it was a contest, and it was just for fun, and maybe my friends and I were a little overhasty. But for the next contest or competition that includes a voting I have a wish: I would appreciate it if you lock the thread right after the voting time had ended to avoid confusion. Thanks for listening, and thanks for taking care of this great place that feels, after all these years, like home to me

I had every intention of locking the poll thread at 3AM EST (Midnight PST) but I got sidetracked and missed my own
deadline. 
I sincerely apologize for any embarrassment or inconvenience this caused you. 
. Oh, and of course I will be there when the next challenges are up. As I said, this whole contest was so much fun.
