Are there usualy any microphones or cameras in the aisles that have to be considered...or are these on the very side?
And will it be held at the "Ballroom" of the Marriott...it looks big on the photos of the hotel?
Does anyone have an actual numebr of how many peple where at the con last year ...was it like 500 or rather 1500 and how many htey hope for next year?

Hi Bluesky I thought I would help answer some of your questions
about the con in order

Room rate was $127 last year at the con hotel but you have to add
on room tax which around another 7-15$ per day

Breakfast is not included with the room rate so one has to
buy that seperately through if you go for Gold you will get the
sunday morning chartity breakfast for free with your gold ticket.

Cameras & mics : Mics are usally at the side of the stage
on both sides but last year not many went up so questions
were shouted out from the crowd to the stage as this subverts
creations moduration of ones questions which belive me can be
a right pain!

Cameras: depends on the con and which year one goes as
2008 my first year they recorded Lucy&Renee's stage apperance
so had 2 main cameras on the left and right of the crowd plus one
small one in the middle of the crowd used for filming the stage and
sending the picture to the large sceeen on stage

Ballroom: dont know if it was the ballroom we were in or
not some one else can tell you for sure All I know was that
we were downstairs from the ground floor lobby and took
most folks ages to work out where it was as there wasnt any
signs telling you where the con was being held

No's of fans attending con : my best guess is this in 08
at burbank properly beween 750-1500 over weekend
with the highest attendence being for Lucy & Renee's
apperance on sunday when the hall was packed

but this year at the new hotel at LAX Marriot it was
an differnt arrangment of the stage as the room size
is different as the stage was side on in the room instead
of at the end of the room as is the norm and it didnt
seem to be as packed as the 08 con was but that could
be missleading I think best guess some where between
1,000-1,500 with again the highest been for Lucy &
Renee on sunday
