Oh yeah, that's a good one, Charliesgirl.
While we're talking about Who's Gurkhan?, I've always liked the scene where Gabrielle decorates Xena's face with those little gold things. A nice, little intimate scene.

Yes it is. I also love when she comes in after the horrible beating and Gabrielle pulls her close after the "peachy" line. I wish they would have
held the camera for just a second longer.

It's kinda frustrating cuz it's like *almost* there but then the scene completely fades and you can't see anything :S |

Do behind the scenes moments count??? There's a behind the scenes moment while they were filming WG where Renee is holding Lucy, both are dressed in robes
sitting on the floor among those pillows and they're rocking back and forth. I absolutely love that one!
If there is something in this life that you want to do, grab hold of the reins and take yourself for a ride, because if you don't you may miss out on some of the best experiences life has to offer! |

Jackie I totally agree here. I didn't even watch the show but was channel flipping and had some time to kill. I stopped when I recognized Xena in modern clothes and all I remember is being confused but at the end Xena was in a male body and the full on tongued each other. That's when I thought that my friends were right about the show and had no doubt and loved the creativity to slip it under the raider. Take care

I love that arm stroke aswell! Whose Gurkhan is probably one of my favourite ep's actually. At the end of Tsunami when they're walking along the beach
with their arms around each other. That's how I walk with my boyfriend! Not my friends!!!
(unless there's alcohol involved).

I always thought Tsunami was an under-rated episode both genreally and in terms of subtext. Xena's panic when she can't find Gabrielle and she hears
"She's dead" and the cute hand clasp before they are going out were lovely.

@ my NPP Quite frankly, I like that entire ep excluding that stupid wrestling scene. I love your avatar. That look and the way she looks in To Helicon and Back could almost turn me........naw, just make me more equal opportunity. So, are my new duties going to include explaining German eps with the good English stuff? That might not be easy as I don't know diddly about German even though my maternal ancestors were German. Maybe we are related. I hope you explained NPP to Charlie. She might never want to go to the mall with me ever again.

WHo cares if they were in different bodies, they knew who they were and they showed how the really felt. IMO anyway.Well, they took it a bit further than that, they got married. In Soul Possession, Mattie called Harry her little "Warrior Princess". Now, just wonder who she thought she was talking to? How do the doubters explain that, eh? |

Mixing some subtle subtext moments in a classic disaster movie setting works pretty well, because it adds a new and unexpected layer for an inexperienced/uninitiated viewer. Posted by Jackie: Why? Because she wanted her woman no matter what body she was in. If Renee had been pregnant already in this episode, TPTB could have added in that since Harry had provided some extra equipment, Xena and Gabrielle had taken full advantage of it.

Oh please, Michael, indeed they would have and we've already had two of those 'little moments' in this series. Had the series not been ending, they would have decided that since the Dahak deal had failed they could try again. It wasn't really Harry's body,
but Dahak in human form and we could have had another demon child. |

I would have immediately requested another 25 year 
and the man with the extra equipment could have taken care of the little
bugger, made sure she trained to be an astronaut and went to live at the space station. Nothing puts a damper on a good romance like a pregnancy and a kid.
Actually according to Whoosh approximate shooting dates, SP was 1/02 and FIN was Mar 28 thru Apr 12, 2002. She was 4 months during FIN so she was just barely
in SP.
No! No! No! I never thought I would have ever wanted the series to end, but you have given me a reason to now. On second thought, I just wonder if
there is an Emoticon Story in that, hmmmmm!!
