Starship hospital is looking at providing a shuttle service for outpatients to cut the thousands of costly no-shows each year.
Kiwi superstar and Starship patron Lucy Lawless is supporting the idea. Outpatient clinics cover all medical specialities and cater for follow-up visits or for children referred to a specialist by their doctor. More than 66,000 appointments are made at the clinics each year but about one in 10 don't show up. click : KADERXENA

I'll just ask Rob when I go to the Wizard's First Rule panel if she's gonna show up. I kinda doubt it though.

You never know. The family might fly in from New Zealand and Lucy just might show up with Rob. Not necessarily at a BSG panel, but to attend the party and/or
dinner after the Wizard's panel like Rob did when Lucy was at Comic Con with the BSG panel. I remember seeing photos by Sharon of David Eick and his wife
at a table with Lucy and Rob.

GOOD.  Given Lucy's comments about her health, she sounded WAAAY overdue
for one. 
The shuttle service is a cool idea-I hope enough funding can be raised to maintain it. Too many poor folks fall through the cracks. Poor folks can overwhelmed with problems that a number of us are fortunate enough to not even have to consider-so they may end up missing things like appointments to the clinic. And they don't always have a support group. In fact, at times the opposite is true. You are punished simply for being poor. And that kind of punishment can cut all the way down to the bone for long periods of time. I know from experience.

That's right, it was Daisy's birthday yesterday if I remember right. Good on Lucy for taking a break and of course continuing to support Starship,
sounds like the shuttle could really help.
