'On the way to Corinth' And of course like all your other stories, I loved it. And like the others I'm a huge fan of your work and I hope you keep on writing. Thanks, Xusan! I feel dumb to keep repeating it but it really is great to hear people loving my stories--mostly 'cause I love them too and I'm glad I'm not completely out of my mind! Thanks for posting the links to my stories, Gabriellelover, and I hope you like them, Thrill! If you enjoy first time stories chances are you will enjoy these. Like 18 out of 21 or whatever it is are first time stories! Never get enough of those--in fact, almost all the X&G fanfic I read was first time stories as well! Uber Xe

Pretty cool to know...at least the avatar associated with the bard I just think that Gabrielle's portrayl was...bang on in that fic. No pun intended. Obviously I love the song "Praise You" as well! Which should you read next? I figure the descriptions at the Athenaeum could give you good info, but my faves of mine are Fortune Favors the Brave, Empress and the Playwright, House of Lao and Xena of Gaul.... The Conqueror's Touch is a nice short one--it's mostly, uh, sex. Glad you enjoyed it, Lexx! Glad you liked Moral of the Story, Michael! I like to think it's the episode that comes after FIN2! Uber Xe

This question is not related to a specific fanfic...but I've been wondering about this for a long time. What's the difference between a shift and a night shirt? I understand what a tunic is, and that it's usually worn during the day or in public spaces, so to speak. But I'm still not sure when I read fanfic what exactly the bards are wanting to convey. Is a shift more tailored, to be worn as an undergarment? I've heard it described as a loose fitting dress. So is that the same as say a tunic...worn with or without a belt? Perhaps different in length? And a night shirt is lose, like a potato sack? And if it is, does it have sleeves? Is it long? How far does it go down? Lower hips, mid thigh, below the knee? And I'm totally serious about this. Stop laughing at me. Thanks Nutty!

But honestly i dont know, i'm sure xena has worn one in an episode and thats where the bards are getting it from, but I dont know what the difference is.

For my purposes, it was a word fanfic writers were using to describe X&G's undergarments, so I just went with it. I was thinking of it kind of like a slip, but made of thicker material. God only knows...... Still don't think either of them necessarily wore much under those outfits. Uber Xe
