 not exactly jackie, just re exploring it i had seen it on the web in slow motion but not in my own time & with the zoom on & over & over ,

This is a great saying Jackie. And I stick to it everytime I watch this scene. I wish I had a bigger tv screen, just imagine a huge screen and
zoom. I think I would faint.
 But with a huge grin on my
face.

Does that mean, you didn't watch the so called "water transfer" in slo-mo, not even in zoom. That was the first thing I did, after I watched this
episode for the first time. I just couldn't get enough of it.
 When you watch it, keep an eye on Lucy's mouth/lips, you can clearly see that she reacts to the "transfer".  So nothing about "Xena is unconscious".

honestly, no i haven't. please don't kill me. i think i watched a clip of it in reverse, does that count? but even if i didn't watch it in
slo-mo or in zoom, it was clearly a kiss. the water drop transfer was just an afterthought

Oh yeah, slow-mo definitely confirms it. I mean, Xena turns her head and lifts her chin a little. Plus, Gabby went back in for a second lip-smacking and that
wasn't necessary so yeah, definitely a kiss.

But I would really liked to have seen one last final PROPER-NO EXCUSES-MUST COME UP FOR AIR-smacker before Xena floated away. I mean come on, why didn't they? Blah. Ah well, imagination is a wonderful thing.... xx

All I know is Gabrielle swallowed all of the water in the previous scene which means they were swapping spit and from where I come from, that means they were kissing. Take care

Thanks Candideyes, I'd just like to clarify that it's NOT my dog, I wouldn't ever do that but it is oh so cute!! Hehe.
I love watching the first frame of the kiss, Xena's lips clearly DO move, and if it isn't a kiss, surely Gabs could have just leant over her and kinda "poured" it in.... Water transfer my bahookie!!! And Jackie, evolving imaginations.... Let's just say most of the time when I think about X&G, it leaves very little to the imagination!
