He's disturbing! He shows up throughout that gorgeous, sensuous dance. What is it about him that makes me go "Eeewww, so wrong"? Of course, Coliseum Dude has always been annoying, but at least he isn't watching...well, you know. Please post the background character in which you think is disturbing. That guy from HOD is really making me nervous. Thanks Nutty!

But to be honest, anytime ROC is on the screen, I usually can't take my eyes off of her. For example, in that HoD dance scene, I'm so focused on Gabrielle when she is on the screen, I have to make a conscious effort to watch Xena or Virgil. ~ Gabby Road ~ She walked with Xena. At first he's at the back of the little group of people, but he soon pushes his way to the front, really mugging for the camera. Michael

In the shot of Xena and Ares in the the earlier post, I think those characters are too far removed from the action, to be anything more than background actors. I'm thinking some one doing the hair styling and costuming was either getting a bit bored, or just having some fun, when they set up those extras! This is a fun post! Thank you! I fast forward through those scenes just because I absolutely can't stand him! He wrecks that whole episode for me. If there is something in this life that you want to do, grab hold of the reins and take yourself for a ride, because if you don't you may miss out on some of the best experiences life has to offer!

I don't know if it qualifies as a background character, but the lady with the dark hair kneeling at the alter in "Forgiven" with her hands up, bugs me. I just find her distracting.
