Both had their place in the times of ancient Gods, Warlords and Kings. They each had their own purpose and use, and of course came in contact with the WP. Which group did you like better and why, the Furies or the Fates? Me, I go with the Furies. They were whacked but more fun than the boring Fates. <g> Who gets your vote?

The Fates didn't make me feel embarrassed about watching this show.Once again Batrochides hits the nail on the head. The Furies were for lack of a better word, bimbos. The Fates were pretty cool, more like the way I imagine they "would have been" as opposed to the bikini-clad dancing girls. Only issue with the Fates as Dumb Gods of course was WFC where they stood around in chains and didn't seem to be able to do *anything* about the situation with the loom. Uber Xe

furies. because they were fun and ineresting. their style was unusual. oh and they were sexyyyyy.

I actually liked the Furies. Bimboo's or not they were great to watch! They had that touch in the head that you hope no one your dating ever gets. It was
sweet. The Fates to me were just BoRiNg! There are supposed to control the loom and they just got "chained" up, ya that's not believeable to
me.

I voted Furies. Dull vs. Bimbo? Yeah, Bimbos hands down. Much more entertaining and easier on the eyes.

In most of the representations I've seen in art, neither the furies nor the fates are wearing much clothing. In fact, on XWP the furies are dressed rather modestly because they weren't topless. Anyway, I like the furies because the head fury, Alecto, was really wacky and funny. |

 Thanks for the info, I didn't know that the fates where also usually depicted as not wearing much, I guess they
really got that part wrong on Xena.
As far as which ones I like better it is the fates just because the furies where just too weird for me and they where always trying to get rid of or hurt Xena. Tobias |
