i am 43 and live in the North-East of England. i first saw Xena and Herc in re-runs in the late 90's. Although i liked Herc, i was really engaged by Xena and Gabby and the girls kicking-ass thing.Once i spotted the sub-text i was hooked. i bought the series on DVD as fast as i could and rationed myself to one episode a day until they finished.
