Street Kings 2008 DVD

Keanu Reeves plays a cop who winds up being used and abused by those around him in the dirty politics of careers within the corrupt department.

I liked it very much and I think my wife liked it too.

heavenly creatures...kate winslet's first major film (big kate fan here... )...two new zealand teenage schoolgirls form a fast friendship... fall in love...live in a fantasy world...(film directed by peter jackson...lotr fame)...they plot the murder of the mother of Pauline (kate is melanie) who is trying to stop the relationship... and carry it out in rather a horrific way...the story was based on an actual murder...

I watched boarding gate last night. At first it started out as a bad imitation of 9 1/2 weeks then turned into a boring movie, one of those where you watch wondering what is going to happen next and why. There was no connection to the characters as I didn't give a damn about any of them and just when it looked as though it might start getting interesting it ended.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
OK, predictable, but a fairly pleasant way to spend an evening.

Maybe its sort of a remake since I just read that in it "Adam Baldwin - who I think was the bodyguard in My Bodyguard - shows up and makes a 'My Bodyguard' joke at one point." As I'm not sure I've seen My Bodyguard I think I'll rent it since the review said if you had to choose between the two films see My Bodyguard (1980).

I didn't miss Sixteen Candles ('84) and Breakfast Club ('85) though.

Loved it! Owen Wilson stars in this farce about some kids who hire a bodyguard to protect them from a school bully.

Is this a remake of "My Bodyguard"? I guess it has been almost 30 years since the original.

For some time into it I didn't think this was a good movie but I came to like it more as it went along. I probably would have given up on it had it not been for Janeane Garofalo's acting as I liked her and so stuck around expecting it to get better. It's a comedy and as usual I didn't find a laugh for myself but I expect my wife will laugh...

I watched The Walker today. I can't say it was a great movie but I have to say it does make homosexuals look like very good people. It's about a homosexual male played by Woody Harrelson with great wigs to make him look young and cute again. He is in high society in Washington D.C. and often escorts his female friends, all married to politicians, to the various dreary society events the husbands don't wish to attend. I just came back from seeing Mama Mia and I have to say its one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Meryl Streep was brilliant as always. The theater was packed and everyone applauded at the end. I haven't laughed so much in a long time. I highly recommend this movie!

I finally finished the 10th Kingdom. It does take a while to get into but by disc 2 it was rather enjoyable and clever. It mentions at the end that this is only the first adventure. I would watch another one.

I watched the Mummy on Sunday and I couldnt see any mummy around. Am I blind or they think we are so dumb not to get that that was not a MUMMY?! This movie makers dont know what a mummy is.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

My imagination became a bit overworked while watching this.
Still I liked it.

Time to start a new thread for another 500 movies.

The last movie I watched was Blazing Saddles in HD. All those bathroom humor jokes on a big screen TV are even funnier, especially since nothing is cut out.
