I just finished to read My Lord: Athens from Mayt, good story, you seat to read and read until the end, you can not have the power to stop....i have read the past book, so i was prepared to tons and tons of angst that Mayt usually put in these Conqueror´s books, i just did not expect sooo much......
Anyway, for those who never read My Lord, be prepare to a lot of angst, heartbreak, ect. Read. Just be caution if you are that kind of person who think a music from Joy Division is a happy...

I'm also looking for another story. It is kind of like jd65.xena's but Xena has to go to meet with a king who likes the kinky way of life. Gabrielle insists on going with her and Xena is forced to pass her off as her sex slave. There is some light bondage. It is like the PWP's but this has a wee bit more of a plot.
Anyone know what the heck I'm talking about?

I feel really stupid, I usually favorite all the stories I read but this one escapes me. The fic is about two woman who are in a shopping mall when an earthquake hits and it collapes on top of them. They get out and lose track of each other. Anyone know what the name of this is?

I figure the definition of a shift is at Wikipedia or lots of places. For my purposes, it was a word fanfic writers were using to describe X&G's undergarments, so I just went with it. I was thinking of it kind of like a slip, but made of thicker material. God only knows...... Still don't think either of them necessarily wore much under those outfits.

This question is not related to a specific fanfic...but I've been wondering about this for a long time. What's the difference between a shift and a night shirt? I understand what a tunic is, and that it's usually worn during the day or in public spaces, so to speak. But I'm still not sure when I read fanfic what exactly the bards are...
