The Phillies advanced to the NLCS with a wild win over the Rockies 5-4

Game 4 of this captivating Phillies-Rockies division series turned into a battle of the bullpens.
And guess what? The Phillies won it.
What was a Cliff Lee masterpiece as late as one out into the bottom of the eighth turned into a 5-4 Phillies series clinching victory that sent them into an NLCS rematch with the Dodgers beginning Thursday night at LA.

Harry Kalas passed away today before game

The voice of Philadelphia Phillies, Harry Kalas collapsed today as he was ready to broadcast the home opener of the Washington Nationals.
He was 73 yrs. A hall of fame anouncer he had 43 yrs behind the mike.

I for one will miss that voice especially when Phils play. He didn't look well the last game he announced, so god has a announcer in heaven now

Mr Gabfan23 is a fan of NFL, specifically New York Giants. I know nothing of NFL except it is like Rubgy but the players wear shoulder pads and Superbowl is pretty big. I would be grateful if you could give me some lines that I can casually throw Mr Gf's way to impress and amaze him (he was impressed that I knew the season had already started!). He's a shrewd man, I don't think he would return unless he thought he could challenge. And there's no stand out cyclist at the mo. I think he'll do ok.
